We are sorry for your loss. It is wonderful to hear about your relationship with this man. It sounds like he was a great role model. I know you all will miss him. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I will miss Bob tremendously. He was a great leader, bother, friend and mentor. I am honored to have been touched by him. It is comforting to know that he is with his Savior waiting and cheering for the rest of us.

I would like to offer my condolences for your loss.  I did not know Mr.Borders personally however because I know death is hard to accept I would like to offer words of encouragement at 1 Corinthians 15:26.

I've had the pleasure of serving with Bob in prison ministry for many years. He's touched countless lives with the love of God and a sincere dedication to the ministry. He will truly be missed by all those who are incarcerated, who had the pleasure of knowing him. Along with all of the many family and friends. On behalf of MCCCM, we give our heart felt love and condolences for your many, many years of faithful service.

What a life Uncle Bob lived!  Described  as the original Google as I read in his obituary couldn't have been more accurate . He was a wealth of information. I valued his advice and wisdom very much.  His service to others, wisdom and great sense of humor will be missed tremendously. Love you Uncle Bob

Bob was a great dad and a great grandfather to the boys. He taught us so much about God and life. I know he's dancing in heaven. Thanks for everything dad, I'll miss you.

This man touched my life in many ways.  We enjoyed weekly talks about the things of God as he would make copies for his prison meetings.  He would go out of his way to say hello to me on Sunday and would always lend a helping hand.  Mr. B will be missed but we smile at the reunion of friends and loved ones in heaven.

Mr. B will be missed by many here at Navigation Church.  His heart for the lost and passion for teaching in the prisons was priceless. His servants heart and giving heart has blessed many lives!  Much love to the family of a precious man of God.

I rejoice that you are at peace with Jesus, but I will miss you. You were an awesome Dad and I love you. I wish we could have had more time with you.

Dad you where my friend, advisor my go to guy when I needed help or just an ear to listen.  My Dad demonstrated what a man should be and how he should treat others. I will miss you dearly but know when God calls you home you have completed your journey on this earth and left a giant impression on humanity. Good bye for now and we will see you again.

Where do we begin to pay tribute to the patriarch of this Borders family:   You took your role as leader and selfless servant with ceaseless energy to minister not only to your own family but to anyone God put in your path.   Never have I known a man with any greater integrity, character and honor.  I would have never known a TRUE father's love without you.  The legacy you have left is precious to all who have known you.  You ran the race using every gift God gave you.   Your greatest passion was to minister the gospel to the downtrodden and this you surely did with faithful diligence.  God gifted you with a divine ability to fix absolutely anything and there's hardly a person that was not the recipient of your help from car problems, appliance meltdowns, plumbing blowouts and construction projects you were there to save the day.  You walked through this life as a man serious about his God and faith but also full of humor and some of the craziest sayings anyone could conjure up.  Even at the end you would put us at ease with one of your funnies.  You even entertained the hospital staff with your quick wit and quirkiness.  God broke the mold when he made you!   Words cannot express how we will miss you but this I know:  our lives are forever changed because of the great love & servant hood you modeled to us all daily.  Rest in peace dad – it's now time for you to be released from your earthly job and be caught up with your Savior!

Bob was a wonderful, beautiful creation of GOD and will be missed by all who knew him. I never saw him without a smile on his face, an if you needed anything Bob was there for you. The beauty that he is seeing now, is more than we can even imagine. The Glory of GOD and our Lord JESUS.

I am rejoicing for your reunion in heaven but sad for our separation here. I am sure it will take a long time to remember that I can't pick up the phone to call you. I will treasure the long talks we had. You were there for me in the darkest times in my life. I cannot fathom how it will be without you as the days go on. You were quite a shining star and a testimony of what God can do in a person. I love you. Until we meet again.....

To the Borders Family.  Life without your dad, grandpa, great grandpa will never be the same. I know that you all have some great memories of him, & stories to tell.  He was a kind & gentle soul like no other. He had so much love to give, that he shared it with everyone. He didn't know a stranger, did he?  Full of compassion, wisdom & probably a few other things;  Mischievous comes to mind.  He will live on in the hearts of all of us who knew him.

He was the best Dad anyone could ever hope for and a true father to all. We love you Dad And will miss you dearly ??

Although we can't be with you while you remember your loved one, you're in our thoughts from afar.
