

Rose was a jewel to all who knew and loved her. Rose possessed a caring and loving personality. She married the love of her life, Wilburn “Wimpy” Gentry Sr. in 1949. She worked as a butcher for 15-20 years, at Hunters in East St Louis, until her retirement. She loved flowers, camping, being outdoors and spending time with her family. Her family was the most important and precious aspects to her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will truly be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Wilburn Gentry Sr.; her children, Wilburn “Butch” Gentry Jr. and Ellen Gentry-Combs; and her siblings, Margaret Moore, Agnes Carroll, Mary Beerman, Ethel Nash, Terry Smith, Ray Willmont, Norman Willmont and Al Willmont.
Surviving her are her daughter Karen (Gary) Eberle, of Oklahoma City, OK, her grandchildren; Justin (Andrea) Gentry, Cody (Michelle) Gentry and Matthew Eberle, her great-grandchildren, Ella Rose, Paxton, Emery, Gunner, and Braddock; her sister, Betty Garza, of North Carolina and a number of dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends and family may visit from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, April 27, 2018 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.
Funeral Service: Funeral Services will be held the following day at 1:00 pm, at Lake View Funeral Home, Rev Charles West officiating. Interment to take place at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
