

Rose Marie Habermehl, 82, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, formerly of Caseyville, Illinois, born on August 27, 1933, in East St. Louis, Illinois, died on January 23, 2016 at Charles Gardens Retirement Community, in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Rose retired from the Union-Pacific Railroad Company after many years as an accountant. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1117 in Caseyville, Illinois. She enjoyed shopping, reading, gardening and playing cards and bingo, but her greatest moments were those spent with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Goodock and Agnes Nagy; her loving husband of 59 years, George E. Habermehl, Sr.; one brother, Raymond Goodock; and one sister, Delores “Dee” Foutch.
Surviving is her son, George E. Habermehl, Jr.; one daughter, Sandi (Larry) Lewis; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Bob) Malottki, George E. Habermehl III, James Habermehl and Dallas Habermehl; two great-grandchildren, Cecylia Malottki and Talon Habermehl; one nephew, Ray Goodock; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and friends.
Memorial donations in Rose’s memory may be made to the Collinsville Food Pantry or Siteman Cancer Center.
