Ruth Clara Decker

Ruth was a jewel to all who knew and loved her. She was a woman of faith, having been a long time member of Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights. She was an avid St Louis Cardinals fan and had a niche for being a great bingo player. Her most precious memories were spent with her loved ones. She was a loving mom, nanny, and great grandma.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Merl Decker; her son, Dennis Decker; her parents, Charles and Clara Mae Fisher, nee Gurley, and five brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her children; Sharon Decker, Charlotte (Ray) Graef, Kenny (Susie) Decker, Shannon (Jeff) Bowen; her grandchildren, Shelley Gavin, Brandy (David) Wills, Billy (Andrea) Walker, Todd (Mary Beth) Graef, Dustin Graef, Ashley (Lloyd) Jarden, Amy Decker, Drake Delong, Brant Bowen, Brock Bowen, Brynn Bowen, and Stacey Buechler; her great grandchildren Cole, Bailey, Devin, Makenna, Laney, Savanah, Logan, Laithen, Lou, Wesley, Vivian, and Lindsey, and her sister Louise Bradley .

Visitation: Friends may call from 10:00am-12:00 Noon, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral Service: Services will be held immediately following visitation at 12:00pm Noon at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Belleville, Illinois
