Scott Joseph Ballard, 33, of Oakville, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023. He was born March 19, 1990 in Belleville, Illinois to Ronald and Barbara (Touchette) Ballard. Scott was an HVAC technician for Nestle Purina PetCare Company. His adventurous spirit led him to the great outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. Scott also had a passion for music and could often be found strumming his guitar. Scott loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his precious niece and nephew. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Surviving to cherish his memory include his parents, Ronald and Barbara Ballard; sister, Lacie (Jake) Morrison; brother, Ronnie (Liz) Ballard; niece and nephews, Brock and Mila Morrison and baby Carter Joseph “CJ” Ballard, and his paternal grandmother, Josephine Ballard. Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Gene Ballard Sr., and maternal grandparents, Elmer and Rosemary Touchette.
A visitation for Scott will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Faith Oakville Church, 6101 Telegraph Rd., St. Louis, MO 63129 with funeral service to follow at 11:00 am in the church. Private family burial in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Windmill Campground and Resort, or the Epilepsy Foundation.
