Shannon Lea Duff

Shannon was born August 5, 1981 in Lexington, NE.

Shannon is survived by her beloved husband, Gerald "Scott" Duff, her daughters Meridian Garcia and Aleah Duff, her son, Brendan Duff, her parents, Diana (Tom) Ostmeyer and Timothy Middaugh, siblings, Shawna Middaugh (twin sister), Mikala Ostmeyer, Shalene Onyango, Alisha Ostmeyer, and Thomas Ostmeyer, her best friend, Tywanna Mosley, her grandmother Sherry Middaugh, and numerous extended family members and great friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Cody James Duff, her maternal grandparents, David and Bernice Fair and her paternal grandfather, Vernon Middaugh.

Shannon sincerely loved and was completely devoted to her husband Scott. She enjoyed all things in nature. She loved walking through the woods, gathering flowers and special rocks that she found along the way. She was very compassionate and had a huge soft spot for animals as she took in and adopted many cats and dogs throughout the years. She truly loved the freedom and wind in her hair on the numerous Harley rides and adventures with Scott. She was full of life and enjoyed going to see live music and dancing the night away.

Shannon’s loss leaves a painful void, but her memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved her.
