

Bud was born July 18, 1932 in East St. Louis, IL to Stanley B. Sr. and Elizabeth (Snyder) Wolfe. They preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, R. Marie Wolfe on July 8, 1998; as well as his daughter, Stacey Speck; and sister, Sharon Purkey.
Bud is survived by his children, Steven (Diane) Wolfe of Delaware, OH, Scott (Lisa) Wolfe of St. Louis, MO, Tracey Wolfe of Chaska, MN and Teagan Wolfe citizen of the world; grandchildren, Anne Low (John), Kathryne Wolfe (Adnan Vahora), Nathan Speck, Jason Speck; one great-grandson, Kameron Low; one sister, Marilyn Wolfe of Edwardsville, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bud worked as an ironworker for the Local Union 392 for many years. He used his skillset on both the Alaska Pipeline and also many St. Louis area bridges. He loved jazz, trains, and sports. He enthusiastically followed the St. Louis Cardinals and horse racing. Bud was active in his church, the American Legion, and volunteered regularly for various organizations and events. Bud’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be truly missed.
Memorial donations in Bud’s name can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
A memorial service for Bud will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL. A time of visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, from 10:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL. Casual attire is requested by the family.
