

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Charlotte (Brandenburg) Turski, whom he married in Chicago, Illinois on June 13th, 1951, Son Steve Turski, Brothers Ben and Tony Turski, sisters; Helen Bertacchi, Hattie Mulnik.
Stanley is survived by children; Stan Turski Jr. & wife Debra Turski of Ward, Colorado, Susan Chaloux and husband Paul Chaloux of Arlington Virginia, Scott Turski of Arvada Colorado, Sandi and husband Mark Spurny of Loveland Colorado, grandchildren; Deanna Turski, Kate Metz, Sharon Spears, Kathy Restaino, Tom Chaloux, John Chaloux, Dan Chaloux, Scott Turski, Rebecca Turski, Jenny Spurny, Kimberly Spurny and James Spurny. Further survived by great-grandchildren; Caden Horner, Ella Horner, Lily Metz, Steve Spears, A'livia Spears, Natalie Restaino, Sydney Restaino, Amelia Turski and siblings; Clara Bonk, Agnes Ruessing, Elsie Gordon.
Stanley served his country valiantly in the United States Army. He enlisted after high school and went into the 188th Parachute Infantry. He received the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
Stanley enjoyed tinkering with everything, earning him the nickname ‘rusty’. He also loved to spend time with his continuously growing family.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 4th, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, (Our Lady of Częstochowa) in Madison Illinois.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at 5:00 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, (Our Lady of Częstochowa) in Madison Illinois.
Interment with military honors will take place on Friday, February 5th, 2021 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, in Elwood, Illinois.
