Tammy Denise Johnson

Tammy was born October 1, 1961 in St. Louis, MO to Johnny Ray McGhee and Carole (Banes) McGhee Bunn.

She is survived by her mother, Carole Bunn of Belleville, IL; children, Lisa (Tom) Trentler of Riverview, FL, Brian Johnson, Riverview, FL, Jessica Johnson (Rachael Reinhardt) of Denver, CO, and John Johnson of Riverview, FL; grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Launa Johnson, Logan Trentler and Avery Trentler; siblings, Angela McGhee of Belleville, IL, Jane (Darrell) Plant of Highland, IL and Bob (Kelly Madade) Bunn of Canfield, OH; nieces and nephews, Lexie, Samantha, Brendan, Josh, Will, Julia, James and Jenna; great-nieces and great-nephew, Jaxson, Ivy and Oaklynn; and uncles and aunts, Jim and Barbara Fritz of Columbia, IL and Mike and Deb Wallace of Belleville, IL; and her lifelong best friend, Suzy Levine.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Ray McGhee; brother, Frank Bunn; and two uncles, Bob Wallace and Frank Wallace.

Tammy had a green thumb and loved tending to her beautiful flowers and plants. She was also a wonderful cook. She leaves behind her beloved cat, Bella. Tammy loved her family and friends, especially her best friend Suzy of 45 year. Tammy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

VISITATION: A visitation for Tammy will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation, at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
