Todd Rolland Reiss

Todd Rolland Reiss, 15, of Highland, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 9, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 10, 2006 in Maryville, Illinois to Nicole McDowell and Brian Reiss. Todd was energetic, fun and strong. He was an avid LA Rams fan and loved cars. He also enjoyed nerf wars, playing PlayStation with his uncles and Saint as well as bowling with his dad. Todd loved storms and always wanted to be a storm chaser. Todd will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. In his own words, he hoped others would learned to love the way he did. His legacy of love and laughter will forever be carried on through his parents, grandparents, siblings and closest friends.

Survivors include his parents, Nicole McDowell and Brian Reiss; siblings Dakota Reiss and Brody Mueller; grandparents, Ginger Youngman, Gregory Reiss, Sheila Reiss and Steve and Monica McDowell; aunts and uncles, Kristy Reiss, Nathan Boda, Robin Boda, Chris McDowell, Charlie Reiss, Joey Reiss, Sara and Mickey Weiss as well as a vast array of cousin who mean the world to Todd.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 5:00pm in Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL 62208 with visitation from 3:00pm until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to Leaps of Love, 1005 Broadway, Highland, IL 62249.
