William "Billy" Ellis Hickman

Billy was born on January 6, 1960 in Wynne, AR to Raymond Edward and Bobbie JoAnn (Woolbright) Hickman.

Billy is survived by his longtime significant other and his Boo, Doris Ann Burg of Cahokia, IL; his former wife, Sarah Green; his children, Chad Green of Belleville, IL and his son, Isaac and Bobbie Jo (Charles) Grissom of East Carondelet, IL and future grandson, due in August, William Vance; brothers, Jimmy Woolbright and Jessie Hickman, both of Cahokia, IL; nieces and nephews, Felicia, Gage, Annette, Raymond, Allison and Kyle; many great-nieces and nephews; and his beloved four-legged friends, Isabelle, Cleatus, Little Man and Boo.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Yvonne Zahn.

Billy was a lover of life and had a passion for rock ‘n’ roll music. He attended countless concerts over the years and was always tuned in to KSHE 95, his favorite station. He was an avid St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved good BBQ, playing video games and spending time on the water fishing. Billy was no stranger to a good time and always enjoyed the simpler things in life. He will truly be missed by his family and friends; his memory will never be forgotten.

A visitation for Billy will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

A celebration of Billy’s life will follow the visitation, at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
