

Mr. Dunham retired as a Tech Sergeant after 20 proud years of service in the U.S. Air Force and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. During that time he spent six years in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand, then Korea where he met his wife, the Philippines and various locations throughout the United States. He graduated from Highland High School located in Gastonia in 1965. He continued his education by achieving an Associate’s Degree from SIU-Edwardsville. Bill was a legacy member of Scott AFB Post 4183 as well as a Master Mason and Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Elma Mae, nee Floyd, Dunham, Sr.; and two brothers, Ronald Dunham and Steven Dunham.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kyong Cha, nee So, Dunham; a son, William H. (Joan) Dunham, III; three daughters, Christine Dunham, Amina (Bradley) Ball, and Kymberly (Justin Williams) Dunham; ten grandchildren plus one forthcoming; a great-grandchild; two brothers; and one sister; as well as a multitude of aunt, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois, Fairview Heights, IL. and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the First Assembly of God Church, 900 Fair Oaks Dr., Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at the First Assembly of God Church, Belleville, IL. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
