BASIL "GENE" DILLON, age 81, passed away Sept. 14, 2012 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Elwood). Dearest father of Thomas (Liz), Robert (Mary) and the following deceased: David and John (Kathy). Devoted grandfather of Kristy Dillon (Matthew Miller), Thomas Dillon Jr. (Jessica), Rebecca Dillon (Adam Carpenter), Megan Dillon, Madeline Dillon and Zachary Dillon. Great-grandfather of Emanuel Bolling and Matthew Miller Jr. Brother of Donald Dillon. Retired General Motors worker and Member of American Legion Post 0888. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the CORRIGAN CRACIUN FUNERAL HOME, 20820 LORAIN RD., FAIRVIEW PARK, OH., where family will receive friends 4-7 P.M. MONDAY.
