Eleanor Treacle Fischer

ELEANOR FISCHER (nee Treacle), age 80, of Fairview Park, OH, died in the early hours of Independence Day, 2010, guaranteeing fireworks and celebration to mark her departure in perpetuity. Devoted wife of the late Robert P.; loving sister of Donna (Richard) Brown (of Arizona); dear aunt of Cindi Brown (Larry Weil) (of Colorado), Ken (Lori) Brown (of Minnesota), Gloria Gedeon, and Dennis (Ruth) Gedeon; dear great-aunt. Eleanor was proud to be a registered nurse. She spent most of her nursing career as the Occupational Health nurse at Cleveland Trust Bank, later Key Bank, where she cared for all the employees. She enjoyed celebrating holidays and special occasions with the Gedeons on the west side. She kept in touch with out-of-state family members having amazing LONG telephone conversations with them! In her retirement and widowed years, Ellie was active at the Fairview Park Senior Center. She sang in the choir, joined the book club and spoke highly of all her friends and good times there. Family will receive friends FRIDAY, 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M., at the CORRIGAN CRACIUN FUNERAL HOME, 20820 LORAIN RD., FAIRVIEW PARK.
