Mr. Gibbs,Mike, Pat, Jackie and Terry, I am so sorry and saddened for the loss of your wife/mom. She was indeed a very special lady. I will cherish my memories of all the hour long phone conversations, working with her in the office, warming my cold hands under her arms and relaxing in the family room on Zona." Ma" helped me through some troubling times and I feel so blessed to call her my "ma" and my friend. I will continue to pray for your family and hope you find strength through this difficult time.

To The Gibbons Family,

On behalf of The Frye Family, allow me to express; both our condolences, as well as our thanks for having been blessed to have met such a warm, strong and supportive woman.

Betsy Gibbons, while we had limited time to get to know her, was and remains a person who remains in our thoughts and prayers as she ascends onto The Heavens.  She may not be with us physically, but she remains with us in mind and spirit.  And for each person who had the chance to meet such a woman, we consider ourselves very blessed.

We are sad because others will not get to experience such a great woman, but are thankful because we were blessed with the opportunity to do so.

Rest well, Mrs. Gibbons.  And thank you for all that you've done.

Mrs. Gibbons was always so sweet, pleasant and helpful.  It was a pleasure to work with her and I enjoyed our phone converstions when she was at Riverside.  My deepest sympathies to the Gibbons Family.

Gibbons Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time, Mrs Gibbons will be missed. I will always remember my time spent with Betsy at Riverside, but most of all seeing her kindness and caring ways with the children. I am truely blessed to have know her.

So sorry to hear of her passing.  I remember her from my time working with Coach.  Prayers of comfort to the family.

She truly was a lovely woman and will be missed. She helped me and my little cousin at Riverside all the time. Like the time when he was scared his first day of kindergarten. She talked with him and showed him around and he wasn't so scared anymore. Her smile was comfort and warm and filled with love. Rest in peace!

I was so sorry to hear of your loss.  May God comfort you and be with you at this time.

Mr. Gibbons and family:  I began my career in Cleveland Schools with Mrs. Gibbons teaching me the ropes.  She was a wealth of knowledge and I carry those lessons with me today.  It saddens me to hear of our loss, but I know because of our many conversations about faith, that she has climbed the stairways to heaven and is safe in the arms of the Lord.  God bless you and your family.  Mrs. Gibbons, you will forever be in my heart.

A promise from God, "there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell." (2Pet 3:13)  A faith building thought from The Daniels Family for The Gibbons Family.

Betsy will be missed by all of her friends at Riverside.  She exemplified dignity, diligence, grace, loyaly and compassion.  I looked forward to interacting with Betsy everyday, professionally and personally.  She shared countless stories of her family.  She beamed with pride as she spoke of each and every one of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  I felt as if I knew each one of you personally from the wonderful stories, accomplishments, and adventures she relayed to us.  Betsy herself was larger than life...as she giggled about something at school she deemed ridiculous, or lectured about something that she knew should have been handled differently.  To share with you that she was steadfastly loyal would come as no surprise to you.  We, at Riverside knew that as well.  We laughed, teased, cried, boasted, shook our heads in amazement, and solved the world's problems all in one day.  We knew where we stood with Mrs Gibbons.  There was no guesswork.  She was a mother to many of our students.  She sure did spoil a few.  She spoiled me too....and many other of "her teachers." We knew we could count on her, always.  Please know that the Riverside Family is deeply saddened.  Betsy will always be a prayer away.  She wouldn't have it any differently.

Gene:  Remember the good times you had together and with your family.  Betsy is in heaven resting peacefully until you can join her there.

Dear Family and Friends,
