Else Pusch Koerner

Else KOERNER (née Pusch), age 82, passed away May 22, 2015, surrounded by her family. She is the beloved wife for 60 years of Georg Koerner and the dearest mother of Doris (Lou) Ardo and George Koerner. Else was born in Crumteich, Germany in 1933 and immigrated here in 1954, soon thereafter becoming the wife of Georg and a citizen of the United States, both of which she was very proud. She worked for a number of years as a seamstress for Joseph & Feiss. Else is survived by 2 sisters, Grete Liening and Frieda Schneithorst, and one brother, Helmut Pusch, all of Germany, as well as the following deceased family members of Germany: Maria Dankert Pusch (mother), Adolph Pusch (father), Fritz Pusch ( brother) and Helene Pohl (sister). She leaves behind to grieve numerous nieces and nephews in Germany. Despite enduring countless hardships in Germany and with her failing health, she lead her life with courage and elegance. She will be remembered by everyone for her sense of determination, love for clothing and jewelry, never- ending faith in God, love of all animals and her excellent German cooking and baking. Funeral Mass will take place Friday May 29 at 10 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church 13400 Lorain Ave, Cleveland. The family will receive friends Thursday May 28 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Ave Fairview Park. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
