I am in utmost sadden and broken heart to hear the passing of Joe! I have no words to express to all of you other than May the Lord be with you and your family. I am going to request a Mass to be held at Saint Josephs Parish in Ft. Lauderdale in his honor. In my memory of Joe is that he never had a bad word to say about anyone he is and was a man of integrity. I am so sad. Colum Gallagher

Joe was a kind-hearted man who seemed to always have something positive to say.  He loved nature walks and enjoyed the outdoors.  I knew him from living at the Kirtland House.  He did a great job helping people while he was on the board.  I have good memories of him.

Dear Pat and Family,
No parent should suffer a loss such as yours.  My heart goes out to you in this time of sorrow.  Circumstances prevented me from expressing my condolences in person, but please know that my love and prayers are with you and will continue to be in the months ahead.  Joe is at home in the house of the Lord.

Our sympathy to Jim and pat on the loss of they son Joe. Judging from the comments in this guest book, Joe was a very special person.

May the memories of a wonderful son, brother and uncle help ease the pain of your loss.  Each time I look for a new shooting star or some heavenly happening I will think of Joe as he always kept me posted on what to look for and when.  I know he has a front row seat now.  Joe was a great man, employee and friend.

I would like to send my deepest condelences to your family. Joe and I worked in Westlake together and still emailed each other from time to time. Joe was a nice, smart and a great person to know. He will be missed.

Dear Pat and Jim and family, ever since I can remember, the very mention of your names, or any memories of your family, always created an image that maid me smile. Your characters, hearts and personalities always projected an image of success, kindness, and stability. Every memory that I can remember still makes me smile. I know that Jesus, Reagan, and Joe are enjoying a beer right now. And I believe that Joe might be surprised by how many Democrats are up there!  I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Joe two years ago. What a kind heart. I also remember seeing Joe downtown one day waiting for a bus. I didn't recognize him at first, and I thought to myself, "Who is this pretentious male model in the Italian suit?"  When I realized it was Joe, I had a good chuckle over it, because he had no pretenses. He was goodness and kindness personified, and I will greatly miss our email and Facebook exchanges. May the peace that surpasses all understanding be with all who mourn.

I was disappointed when he didn't come to Strongsville because he brightened my work days with his smile and wit. Joe was a very nice guy and will be remembered always.

With prayers and sympathy, I am so sorry for your sudden and tragic loss.  My mother, Josephine Hunt, lived in the Kirtland House for many years and always spoke highly of Joe.  I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times and could immediately sense his goodness and kindness. Joe was forever reminding me of how many days before Christmas.He got a kick out of my reaction.I met Joe at West lake and continued on to work in downtown Cleveland. He would make me smile even when I did not feel like it! He will be missed.Joe was very dedicated to his employer and disliked showing up late no matter what. My prayers are with all of you.He was friends with a lot of people in Lakewood Ohio.

Joe was the Treasurer of the Kirtland House Condominium Association for many years and a personal friend of mine. He was a good person and will be greatly missed by the Board of Directors and all of his friends in the building.
