LILY ANN ROSE DARKO (nee Vacik), age 96, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 surrounded by her family. Lily was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia to Josef and Mary (Buchek) Vacik. Beloved wife of the late John Andrew; loving mother of Christina (Terry) Sweeney; dear grandmother of Jonathan, Torey, Nina, and Kip; sister of the late Ladislav and Joseph; aunt of Chris (Terri), Debbie (Jim) Knapp, Paul, and Karen (Dave) Lubanovich; great aunt of Ladislav "Lad", Lucia "Lucy", and Josip "Joe". Loving friend of Hutch, Lyra, Lacey and Gigi. Was an avid gardener and loved the gift of grandchildren.
