Thomas Alan Westerhold, 74, Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away September 28, 2025, after battling a rare form of cancer. Tom is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Kate Marofste (Jim) of Ballwin, MO, son Greg Westerhold (Kelly), Ballwin, MO and four granddaughters. Tom is also survived by his sister Linda Rohr, Bolder City, NV, brother Gary Westerhold, Fairview Park, OH, and brother Theodore Westerhold (Liz) Chesterland, OH, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Westerhold (2014) and father, Theodore Westerhold (2019).
Born on December 28, 1950, and raised in Fairview Park, Ohio, Tom attended St Edward All-Boys Catholic High School through 1969 and graduated from Ohio University in 1974. His career in welding manufacturing began in sales, continued with national and international marketing, and concluded with top management from which he retired in 2009. His career moved him to different states, and he crossed the ocean numerous times, but his favorite trips were to Fairview Park, Ohio to share laughter and good times with his very close and loving family.
