

Charles K. Coriaty, age 60 of Somerset, died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at his home, after an illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Suzanne (Castonguay) Coriaty to whom he had been married for 34 years.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Fred and Amelia “Emily” (Salwan) Coriaty, he was a lifelong area resident, and resided in Somerset since 1997. Mr. Coriaty was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School Class of 1969 and worked as an area manager for Wakefield Management out of Lynnfield, MA for 17 years in which he oversaw Midas Auto shops in Southeast MA and RI.
Mr. Coriaty was a member of St. Anthony of the Desert Church and a member of the Lebanon American Society. He was a skilled steelworker, an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed traveling. Always active in his children’s lives he was a coach at the Fall River National Baseball League and a frequent contributor to the Massasoit Community College Baseball Program in Brockton.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children Derek Coriaty of Fall River, Marc Coriaty of Somerset, and Kheley Coriaty of Somerset; a brother Leonard Coriaty and his wife Diane of Dartmouth, two sisters, Barbara Hall and her husband Allan of Somerset, Vivian Civiero and her husband Pio of Canada and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 8:30AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORAIL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St. Fall River, MA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10AM in St. Anthony of the Desert Church, 300 N. Eastern Ave. Fall River. Visiting Hours Sunday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to Hospice Outreach, 502 Bedford St. Fall River, MA 02720. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
