

He was born and raised in Fall River and was the son of the late William and Blanche (Montgomery) Pelletier. He was one of fourteen sisters and brothers with 11 surviving.
“Chuck” attended public school in Fall River and was a lifelong resident of the city. He also served in the Armed Forces during the Korean War. Chuck was employed as a “cutter” at Shelburn Shirt for 29 years and later was employed by the City of Fall River before retiring.
He is the former husband of Barbara Jean Pelletier and is survived by his three children; Sharlene Pelletier, Susan Pelletier and her companion Paul Cordeiro and Charles E. Pelletier, Jr., all of Fall River, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Chuck was an avid animal lover, enjoyed listening to music, watching sports, and current events. He also enjoyed collecting coins, loved nature and outdoors and going for long walks.
Private services are in the care of Waring-Sullivan Home, Cherry Place, Fall River. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Forever Paws, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River, MA, 02721.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the incredible staff at the Adam’s House and to Kindred Hospice staff for their compassion and outstanding care that Chuck received during his time with them.
He will sadly be missed by his children and loved ones.
