David J. Rapoza

Born in Fall River, the son of Pamela E. (Martin) DeCotret of Dania Beach, FL and the late David Rapoza he has been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Somerset High School and has been working in the Sheet Metal Industry for 18 years with Local 17 in Providence. David was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, enjoyed weightlifting and was known as a thrill seeker.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his son David Cole Rapoza of Tiverton, RI, three brothers Marc D. Rapoza and his wife Cindy of Tiverton, RI, Jeffrey C. Rapoza and his wife Maria of Johnston, RI and Jonathan C. Rapoza and his Fiancée Betty-Jo of Fall River; maternal grandmother Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Martin; step-father Moe DeCotret; nieces and nephews Mary Catherine, Kaleigh Marie, Jeffrey Charles, William Henry, Benjamin Daniel, Sylvia Elizabeth and Eloise Violette Rapoza; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11am in the United Congregational Church, The Commons, Little Compton, RI. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8pm in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE 178 Winter St., Fall River. Burial will be private.
