Eileen R. Wilson

Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Michael F. and Mary A. (Murphy) Cusick, she was a lifelong resident of the city and was a graduate of Durfee High School, class of 1935. Employed in the bookkeeping department of the former Dover Stamping Co., she retired in 1984. Mrs. Wilson was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of its Seniors and Guild. She was also a former Girl Scout Leader, member of the Fall River Fire Fighters Auxiliary and a family advisor for Access Mental Health.

Surviving: two sons Woodrow E. “Woody” Wilson of Westport, Stephen F. Wilson of Fall River, one daughter Joan A. Grund and her husband Edward of Stow, MA, three grandchildren Eric M. Grund and his wife Rita, Sandra M. Grund and Michael A. Wilson, two great grandchildren Sarah and Christian Grund, and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Marguerite Smith and Mary A. Allan.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 8:00 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by a funeral mass at 9:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Linden St., Fall River. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 PM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
