Frank Amorin

Frank Amorin, 83, of Swansea, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Fall River, Frank was the beloved husband of 63 years to Marie Blanche (Gagnon), and the son of the late Frank C. and Mary (Rego) Amorin. Over his lifetime, Frank worked many different jobs within the manufacturing/textile facilities in Fall River but the job he loved most was being a Groundskeeper at Middlebrook Country Club (Cuppels, Inc.) in Rehoboth which he held for many years prior to retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing Keno and just sitting by the ocean listening to his country music. In addition to his wife Blanche, Frank is survived by one daughter, Denise (Amorin) Correia (husband Raymond) of Somerset; his daughter in law, Lea Amorin; 5 grandchildren, Bryan Correia of North Providence, Jordan Amorin (wife Melissa) of Swansea, Elizabeth (Correia) Medeiros (husband Andrew) of Westport, Olivia Amorin (fiancé Alex Roskowski) of Swansea, and Marc Correia (wife Meghan) of Fall River; 6 great grandchildren, Mason, Mattis and Micah Correia, Paul and Connor Amorin, Kennedy Medeiros, and many nieces & nephews. Frank was the father of the late Paul Amorin, and brother of the late Dolores Boutin, Louis (Sonny), Robert, and George Amorin. Frank’s Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 1335 N. Main St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
