Grace A Taylor, 83, was the daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Delaney) Taylor. Grace was an avid New England sports fan. She was especially a devotee of the Pawtucket Red Sox, spending much time following the team as they played in minor league cities throughout the United States.
Grace was also an accomplished writer having short stories published in Readers Digest and other such periodicals.
After 45 years of dedicated service to the Fall River Diocese's Education Department, Grace volunteered her time in local food pantries and at the Catholic Memorial Home.
Grace leaves cousins, Mary F. Murphy of Somerset, Dr. Patrick Delaney of Leominster, MA and a nephew, Gerald Taylor of Woodbury, New Jersey.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 9:30AM in St. Margaret Mary’s Chapel at the Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Catholic Memorial Home. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
