Janice “Jan” T. Pieri O’Shaughnessey age 57 of Fall River passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Michael O’Shaughnessey.Born in Fall River daughter of the late Goiello L. and Theresa M. (Rodrigues) Pieri, she was a graduate of the former Mt. St. Mary Academy Class of 1970, and Bridgewater State College Class of 1974.She was an acting and musical theater teacher at The Dance Academy in Fall River as well as On Stage Performing Arts. Jan was also very active in area theater companies, Fall River Little Theater, Case High School Theater Co., Durfee Theater Co., Bristol Theater Co., and Spindle City Ballet. She was also involved in teaching the Summer Adventures in Learning program in Mattapoiset.Surviving: one son Taylor M. O’Shaughnessey of Fall River, one daughter Elyse T. O’Shaughnessey of Fall River, one sister Madeline G. Davern of Lakeville, one niece Kindra Davern of Lakeville, and two sisters- in- law, Patricia Hebda and Frances O’Shaughnessey.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME of MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River.
