Jeanne Dube

Jeanne Dube, 78, of Fall River passed away peacefully February 11, 2014 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Adelina (Lizotte) Dube. A dedicated teacher and principal in the Diocese of Fall River, she also taught in Conway, Arkansas. Before retiring in 2006, Ms. Dube taught at the former St. Anne School for 15 years. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed reading and cooking. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves a brother; Roland Dube of Fairhaven, two sisters; Pauline Pineault of Westport and Janice Pacheco of Somerset. She was the sister of the late Doris Pacheco and Rene Dube. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and her friend and caregiver Jeanne St.Yves.

Special thanks to the Southcoast Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Care Department for their genuine concern for Jeanne and for providing her with the comfort she so richly deserved. Our gratitude goes out to Dr. Mouded and his staff for their assistance during this transition and to St. Stanislaus Parish and School for their prayers and support.

Her funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11 AM in St. Stanislaus Church, 36 Rockland St. Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to St. Stanislaus School Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 300, Fall River 02724. Burial private.
