Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Antone and Lorraine (McDonald) Mattos. She was a lifelong resident of Fall River.
A graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s Academy, Class of 1965, Jessica continued her education, earning her Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Education through the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She worked as an elementary school teacher for 35 years.
She is survived by her close friend, Lisa A. Silvia of Fall River and all of her caregivers at the Fall River Health Care.
Her funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, Fall River.
