Born in Fall River a daughter of the late Harold J., Sr. and Romaine W. (Blossom) Peckham she was a longtime resident of Tiverton, RI.
A graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1964, she worked for Raytheon for a few years prior to getting married. Her most rewarding job was that of a homemaker, then a short career as a teller Bank Newport once her children were grown. An avid beach goer she loved to vacation in Maine but most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events, especially soccer games.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter Christine C. Homen and her husband David; one son, Craig R. Committo and his wife Chris; one brother, Harold J. Peckham, Jr.; two granddaugters, Emma and Leah Committo and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Carol W. Frates.
The funeral service will be private at the family’s request.
