Born in Fall River, son of the late John F. and Dorothea F. (Griffin) Hallisey. He was a lifelong resident of Fall River and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Jackie worked at People Incorporated, as an assembler, and for twenty one years was the Telephone Pioneers Torch Bearer at The Special Olympics. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan.
Surviving three sisters: Anne Marie Asquino of Maryland, Mary C. Bouchard and Marilyn Edge both of Fall River, two brothers: Brian J. Hallisey of Maine and Richard C. Hallisey of Somerset and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 9AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter Street, Fall River followed by a funeral mass at 10AM in Good Shepherd Church, 1598 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Sunday 4-7PM.
