

Called to Christ unexpectedly on May 16, 2015, Joseph Thomas Czerwonka, beloved son of Joseph J. Czerwonka and Diane M. Bunk, of Fall River, Massachusetts. Joseph was a graduate of Bishop Connolly High School and Franklin Pierce University, and completed the South Suburban Police Institute. He also was employed as an intern by the Bristol District Attorney’s Office.
He is survived by his parents, his sister Catherine Ganem and her husband Jared Ganem of Tampa, FL.; his loving girlfriend Valerie Armstrong and her family; his grandmother Frances S. Czerwonka of Fall River; and his aunt Elizabeth Nelson and her husband Jim of Omaha, NE.; his cousin, Susan Todorsky of Charlestown, MA and other close and dear relatives.
Mr. Czerwonka was a Special Police Officer for the Town of North Attleborough, and a dispatcher for the Town of Raynham. He was awaiting certification to begin his duties as a Special Police Officer for the Town of Raynham.
Joseph was a very special person who brought joy and happiness wherever he traveled. His laugh and smile was infectious. No one who ever met him could forget him, or walk away without feeling better for having been with him. He will be sorely missed.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 8AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by his funeral mass at 9AM in Holy Name Church 709 Hanover St., Fall River.
