Judith D. Dolan

Judith D. Dolan, age 82, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in Charlton Memorial Hospital. A life-long resident of the city, she was the daughter of the late Francis C. “Happy” and Elsie G. (Wagner) Dolan. A graduate of B.M.C Durfee High School, she was employed by Bristol County at the Bristol County Registrar of Deeds in Fall River for many years. A lover of cats, when not caring for own, she was often taking care of the local cats in the neighborhood. She enjoyed going on short road trips with her mother and spending time with her family of friends. She was a past member of the Heritage Singers, a member of A.A.R.P. and Bristol County Retiree member. Judith is survived by many loving friends that considered her family, she was called Auntie by Margie Murphy, Patrick Murphy and his daughters, Kelly and Caitlin Murphy, and a dear friend of Maria Dula and Thomas Oliveira. She was predeceased by Cathie Murphy-Ferranti. Her Funeral will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 10:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and Friends Invited. Visitation to take place on Monday from 4:00PM-6:00PM. Contributions in her memory may be made to Faxon Animal Rescue League, 474 Durfee St., Fall River, MA 02720. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
