Katherine (Connerton) Molloy, 73 died on June 30, 2015 at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Nursing Home in East Providence, RI. Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Leo Connerton and the late Elizabeth (Gallagher) Connerton. She was a long time resident of Somerset, MA and Fall River, MA. She is survived by her husband, David of Fall River, their son David Jr, of Warwick, RI, three grandchildren Caelin, Liam, and Meghan all of Westport, MA. She is survived by her brothers Leo Connerton of Newport and the Reverend Monsignor Barry R. L. Connerton of Taunton, MA.
Katherine attended St. Joseph School, St. Catherine Academy and graduated from Salve Regina University all in Newport. She taught in the Newport public schools, and later worked at the Aetna Insurance Company and Durfee High School in Fall River.
Her funeral Mass will be on Thursday, July 2nd at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 1335 N. Main St., Fall River. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
