Marguerite Rose Haskins

Marguerite Rose (Gagne) Haskins, 76, of Fall River passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, after a brief illness. Born in Quebec, Canada - she was the beloved daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (Derosier) Gagne.

Marguerite spent much of her life raising her two children. She took pride in being able to spend time with her children, grandchildren and being there whenever her family needed. She enjoyed gardening, baking and collecting all sorts of décor for inside and outside her home. She loved to spend time at Horseneck Beach in Westport. In her later years – Marguerite enjoyed spending time with her family and had made her faith a large part of her life. She enjoyed her life in both Massachusetts, and the many years that she lived in various parts of Maine.

Marguerite is survived by her two children – Christopher B. Haskins and his wife Lisa of Taunton, Julie M. Riendeau and her husband Justin of Port Charlotte Florida, grandchildren: Brian A. Raposa and his wife Sarah, Ashtyn A. Haskins, Alyssa H. Perley, T.J. Wood, Tyler C. Haskins and his fiancé Cassidy, Micheal J. Haskins, and Alyssa R. Riendeau, and one great-granddaughter Prudence. She leaves behind her former husband Brian F. Haskins of Assonet, and her sisters Joyce, and Carmen both of Fall River, as well as many generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. Marguerite was predeceased by her 11 other brothers and sisters.

All services are private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
