Mary Elizabeth Kane

Mary was born on January 18, 1935, in Rochester, New York, the second of five girls to Carl and Marion (Maira) Giordano. She was raised with her sisters Theresa, Carol, Judith and Rachelle in Rochester and Arlington, Massachusetts.

Her legacy includes seven children, Christopher Theodore Culotta, Judith Ann Wright (Culotta), Samuel Anthony Culotta, Carl Joseph Culotta, Louis Vincent Culotta, Charles Harry Isadore Kane and Jeremy Seth Kane.

Mary especially enjoyed cooking sumptuous meals for her large family and friends, taking walks around Tiverton, Rhode Island and tending to her beautiful gardens. She was a talented artist, traveling around the world to paint watercolor scenes and landscapes; as well, she was an avid knitter and jewelry designer.

She was a charitable soul throughout her life, extending her love of cooking and the arts through many civic endeavors, including her local and state garden clubs.

Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 10:00AM in St. Theresa’s Church, 265 Stafford Rd., Tiverton, RI. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Burial in Temple Beth El Cemetery, Fall River.
