

Pauline M. (Sears) Rebello, “Paulie,” age 79 of Assonet, passed away peacefully at her residence Monday, May 30, 2011. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Mello) Sears, she had lived in Fall River until moving to Assonet in 1968.
She was a graduate of the former Scared Hearts Academy and received her bachelor’s degree from Bryant College. She was the Manager at the O’Day Boat Company until 1979 and then worked as a secretary at Charlton Memorial Hospital and Catholic Memorial Home until her retirement.
Mrs. Rebello was the past president of the International Management Council of Greater Fall River. She enjoyed skiing, sailing, and gardening.
She is survived by one son; Paul S. Rebello of Assonet, two brothers; Harry “Jack” Sears of Taunton, Thomas R. Sears and his wife Mary Lou of Assonet, two granddaughters; Jennifer Rebello of NYC, and Alyssa Mallon of Bristol, RI, Godson; Jay Fournier of Assonet and many nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Peter J. Rebello and sister of the late Elizabeth Fournier.
Her Funeral will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 at 9:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE 178 Winter Street followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00AM in Calvary Temple Assembly of God 4231 North Main Street Fall River. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Contributions in her honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
