

Raymond A. Boulay, “Bucky,” age 82, of Fall River, died Monday, March 21, 2011 in Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Estelle (Carvalho) Boulay and the late Dorothy (Medeiros) Boulay.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Arthur L. Boulay Jr. and Gloria (Levesque) Boulay, he had been a lifelong resident of the city.
A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, class of 1947, he was a member of the National Guard from 1948 to 1961 and was discharged as Master Sergeant. While in the National Guard, he coached the Guard little league team.
He was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 25 years retirng in 1990. Prior to that he worked at the former Mervin Hat Corporation in Fall River. He was a Webelo Scout Leader with Boy Scout Troop 50, a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers Union, and the Fall River Lodge of Elks. Mr. Boulay enjoyed playing handball and golf and was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
He is survived by two sons, Russell J. Boulay and his wife Susan of Fairfield, CA, Paul W. Boulay and his companion Eileen Kaiser of Fall River, one daughter Loree DiCenso and her husband Michael of Cranston, RI, one sister Annette Borden of Fall River, two brothers Normand E. Boulay of FL, and William D. Boulay and his wife Claire of Assonet, his loving companion Ann Proulx of Somerset, five grandchildren Jillian Jared and Taylor Boulay, Michael DiCenso Jr. and Domenic DiCenso and many nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Robert Boulay
His Funeral will be held Saturday March 26, 2011 at 8:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at CHERRY PLACE 178 Winter St. Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in St. Anne’s Church South Main Street Fall River. Visiting hours Friday from 5:00 to 8:00PM. Contributions in his honor may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA, 01701. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
