Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Edward and Vina May (Whitehead) Johnson, she was a longtime resident of Somerset.
Dedicated to her family, she enjoyed caring for and spending time with them. A skilled musician, she played the organ and piano for many years. She was a member of the Fall River Baptist church.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra DaSilva of Fall River; one son, David T. Palmer and partner Shawn McCafferty of Indiana; two grandchildren, Kelly DaSilva and Randall S. Berryman, III; three great-grandchildren, Arianna Jerden and her husband Thomas and Aiden and Zoiey Berryman and one great great-grandchild Ariella Jerden. She was the sister of the late Ted Johnson.
Her Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea followed by burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
