Thomas M. Teves., age 81, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 in Southpointe Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Pauline (Mello) Teves to whom he has been married for the past 56 years.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Antonio and Mary (Medeiros) Teves, he was a life-long resident of the city.
Mr. Teves was a graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1955 and later served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a Senior Test Engineer for Honeywell/Bull Corporation for 35 years before retiring in 1995. After retirement he taught business math at Serr Jobs for Progress.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Steven Teves and his wife Valarie of Somerset and Kevin Teves of Boylston; one daughter, Stephanie Teves of Somerset; two grandsons, Jared Gosselin with whom he shared a special relationship and Brandon Teves; one great granddaughter, Ava Elizabeth Gosselin and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George, Edward and Daniel Teves.
He also cherished his family dog and companion, Hunter who recently passed away.
His Funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 1335 North Main St., Fall River.
