Born in Fall River, the son of the late Daniel and Henrietta “Tootsie” (Bergeron) Correira, he has been a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Correira was a Contractor with Global Construction, KYRIK-T Concrete and later he owned and operated Correira & Sons Home Improvement. Wayne also enjoyed the Patriots and trips to Foxwoods.
Surviving in addition to Sandra are his two sons; Chad LaFleur of Fall River and Eric Correira of Attleboro; four grandchildren; Alexis Correira, Seth LaFleur, Kylie Woollam and Logan Couto; four brothers and sisters; Debra “Pinky” Oliveira, Kathy, Daniel and Henry Correira all of Fall River and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 9am in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 to 8pm. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
