William R. “Billy” Almeida, age 52 of Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care, Fall River, formerly of Westport passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 in Charlton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of Linda M. (Santos) Pacheco and James S. Pacheco of Westport and son of William S. Almeida of Florida.
Born in Fall River, Billy lived in Westport for 18 years. He sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in a head on crash on RT 88 in 1985. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church and was the president of the teen club for three years. He had graduated with honors from Westport High School, class of 1984.
His visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, MA 02720. Relatives and friends are invited.
