On Thursday, May 5, 2011 at her home in Greenspring Village, formerly of Vienna, VA. Wife of the late Edward F. Duffy; mother of Stephen F. Young (Aurora) and Madelon J. Helm; step-mother of Patricia Balthis (Griffin) and the late Edward Duffy, Jr. (Janice); grandmother of Amy, Stacie, Annette, Allison, Mark, Paul and Todd. Also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to Carmella's Life Celebration at MONEY AND KING FUNERAL HOME, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Wednesday, May 11 from 2 To 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 8601 Wolf Trap Rd., Vienna, VA on Thursday, May 12 at 10:30 a.m. Interment National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities of Virginia or Capitol Hospice.
