Caroline L. Rogan

Caroline L. Rogan of Sharon, Pennsylvania died January 1, 2019 at the home of her son in Falls Church, Virginia. Son Daniel and her loyal canine companions were by her side after a brief period of declining health. She was 94. Caroline, born on May 16, 1924 in Farrell, PA, was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Mueller) Lauderman. She married Paul L. Rogan on October 31,1942 in St. Elizabeth’s Church in Farrell. He preceded her in death on July 6,1994. Caroline was a member of the Farrell High School Class of 1942 and worked for Montgomery Ward in Sharon, where she met her husband. During World War II, she worked at the former Sharon Westinghouse in the Blue Print Office before staring her family. Caroline was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Sharon, where she was a proud founding member of the Widows' Group. In her retirement, she looked forward to her many outings with her dear friends known as the “Saturday Night Trio”. She enjoyed her restaurant excursions and spending time with her beloved dogs. She is survived by two sons,Timothy and his wife, Twila of Frederick, Maryland, and Daniel, of Falls Church. Four granddaughters, Roseanne, Irene, Nancy and Carol. Three great-grandchildren, Rogan, Xavier and Eleanor. Her two loyal canine companions, Wally and Winnie survive too. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Stepanchak and her brother, Charles Lauderman. The services are pending for a later date.
