Charles E. Smith, Jr., age 93 formerly of Buffalo, New York, passed away on October 13, 2015 at his residence in McLean, Virginia. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps as a pilot. He was a professor of biological science at the University of Buffalo and San Jose State University.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth. He is survived by his sister, Mary Lou (Kenneth) Melley and many nieces and nephews.
