She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Scott, Sr.; mother, Constance “Connie” Scott; brother, Richard “Ritchie” Scott, Jr.; grandparents, Christine and George Ward, Sr.; uncles, George Ward, Jr. and Daniel Ward; and cousins, Christopher Ward and Ryan Giglio.
Christina is lovingly remembered by her cousins Trip and Michele Ward, RJ Ward, Rebecca Ward, Dylan Ward, and Skylar Ward, along with many dear friends whose lives were brightened by her presence.
For more than 38 years, Christina served as the Conference Center Manager for Analytic Services (ANSER), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing innovative solutions to complex national security challenges. In 2025, she was honored with ANSER’s highest employee award in recognition of her decades of devoted service. Christina’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on every employee, every client, every vendor, and every visitor she encountered. She built meaningful, enduring relationships and was deeply respected for her integrity, dedication, and pride in her work.
Christina especially treasured time with family and friends. Her generosity was boundless, and she delighted in sharing the experiences she loved with those closest to her. She adored trips to the beach—especially Myrtle Beach—weekend getaways to New York City, attending Broadway shows, enjoying fine dining, and shopping excursions. Christina also loved going to Washington Nationals games and was a loyal Commanders fan who never missed a game. She was passionate about discovering her family history, particularly her connections in Key West.
Christina also loved cruising and discovering everything a destination had to offer. She never passed up a concert or a cherished playbill, carefully saving tickets and mementos from her travels and special events to create her many scrapbooks, which became beautiful keepsakes of the experiences she treasured most. With an encyclopedic knowledge of movies, she took great joy in recommending and sharing a good film with anyone willing to listen.
Christina will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to come into her life, and her memory will live on in the hearts of many.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at the National Memorial Park, located at 7482 Lee Hwy in Falls Church on February 4th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This will be an open-house style gathering, and guests are welcome to attend as able. Words of remembrance will be shared at 6:00 p.m., and light refreshments will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Christina’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Goodwin House Hospice, whose exceptional care brought comfort to Christina and support to her family and friends during her final days.
