Devila Patel

Born December 10, 1933 – Left Her Body June 16, 2025

We celebrate the life and memory of Devila Patel, affectionately known as “Ba”. Our Ba had an indestructible self that she nurtured and blossomed into throughout her life. She grew from student to teacher to principal, to inspiration. She faced her life and then her illness with strength and never a complaint. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A loyal friend, and one who offered steady guidance to so many who turned to her. She founded and ran Bambino School for nearly 50 years, touching countless lives. Even after stepping away, she continued her commitment to learning by supporting the growth of other educational institutions through her charitable trust.

She will be sorely missed, fondly remembered, and celebrated for all she achieved and the remarkable life she lived.

She leaves behind her son, Sunit Patel, daughter Sangeeta Prasad and their families.
