Doris S. Chittum of Alexandria, Virginia, passed July 8 at the age of 77. Wife of the late Everett Chittum; loving mother of Janet (Bobby), Gary (Heng), Dave, Betty, and Donna; caring grandmother of Melissa, Sherry, Jennifer, Melody, Michael, Cindy, Christopher, and John; great-grandmother to Brian, Jeremy, Samantha, Austin, Tristan, Shana, Trinity, Brayden, Lexy, Ciara, Devon, Dylana, and Zane. Also survived by her brother, Everett Seay (Chris) and an abundance of other family and friends.
Family and friends are welcome at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway; Falls Church, VA, on Wednesday, July 10, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Doris' life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.; interment to follow at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Doris' memory to the American Heart Association.
