Eleanor Bromley of Falls Church, VA passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Bromley and her son, John A. Bromley. She is survived by her daughters, Christine M. Belschner and Carol M. Hillegass; grandchildren, Edward Belschner (Rasa), John M. Bromley, Christine M. Lacy (Jon), John P. Hillegass (Stacy), Timothy M. Hillegass (Megan), Julie M. Hillegass (Dylan); 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers, Ruth, Wanda & Ximena, for their excellent care and dedication.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th from 5-8 PM at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St. Falls Church, VA 22046. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Tuesday, September 16th at 10 AM, at St. James Catholic Church, 905 Park Ave. Falls church, VA. 22046, followed by interment at 2pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD.
