On Saturday our beloved father, E. Charles Johnson, was called to heaven to
dance with his wife of 70 years. Charles is predeceased by his wife, Marion
E. Johnson "Toy" and his sister, Helen. He is survived by his son
Michael Beauchamp (Polly), his grandchildren, Tiffany, Marylynn, Caroline,
Beau and Samantha and numerous relatives and friends. The family will
receive friends at DeVol Funeral Home, 2222 Wisconsin Ave, NW, Washington,
DC on Thursday, January 3 from 5- 8 pm. A service will be held at Cherrydale
Baptist Church, 3910 Lorcom Lane, Arlington, VA on Friday, January 4 at noon.
Interment at the National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations
can be made in Charles' name to Cherrydale Baptist Church.
