Passed away peacefully September 26, 2014 at The Virginian, Fairfax. Ernie was preceded in death by his loving wife Julie, survived by his daughter Joyce Ann(Larry) DePace, grandsons Derek (Lee Ann), Ryan and great-grandson Dylan. Born in Wash, DC raised in Tysons Corner, lived in his Falls Church home since 1949. He was an Army WWII Veteran, worked as Superintendent at Washington Concrete Rosslyn/Betco Block Gainesville, he retired in 1994. He loved gardening, watching sports on TV and his family and friends. His back door was always open. Funeral Service will be on October 1, 11AM at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, McLean VA, with interment to follow at National Memorial Park, Fairfax, VA
